previous Incomplete version:

We need to give each other the space to grow, to be ourselves, to exercise our diversity. We need to give each other space so that we may both give and receive such beautiful things as ideas, openness, dignity, joy, healing, and inclusion.

Ik durf..a try of a sketch of Queen Beatrix

Ik durf:
While doing it I was not able to find my erasor, it was misplaced somewhere....still I decided to go ahead even with the wrong lines....A thought was in mind that there is always a second chance for the improvement and within 20 minutes this rough sketch was ready..

and now am daring to post our current queen on the blog:)

The Telegraaf in its editorial calls Beatrix ‘the perfect queen’. The style of the departing monarch was less warm and personal than her mother’s but her reign leaves a modernised and secure monarchy, for which the Dutch people owe her ‘a great debt of gratitude’

Info about OM:
Om or Aum is of paramount importance in Hinduism. This symbol is a sacred syllable representing Brahman, the impersonal Absolute of Hinduism.

Om represents both the unmanifest (nirguna) and manifest (saguna) aspects of God. That is why it is called pranava, to mean that it pervades life and runs through our prana or breath.

If repeated with the correct intonation, it can resonate throughout the body so that the sound penetrates to the centre of one's being, the atman or soul.

There is harmony, peace and bliss in this simple but deeply philosophical sound. By vibrating the sacred syllable Om, the supreme combination of letters, if one thinks of the Ultimate Personality of Godhead and quits his body, he will certainly reach the highest state of "stateless" eternity, states the Bhagavad Gita.
